    Awesome info as always. I need to find land in a non dog hunting state. Here in NC it's pointless to even plant food plots anymore when dogs are chasing deer off your land starting in August. #sucks

    But the variable to this is that you aren’t shooting at a still target. You have to judge by the deers level of alertness, how much it’s gonna drop/turn. And how to make these placement shots, based on that.

    • @Whitetail_Properties
      @Whitetail_Properties 12 часов назад

      Of course. There are countless variables to take into consideration that would be impossible to try account for all of them. We were just simply showing the anatomy of a whitetail so hunters can understand where the shot needs to be, and make decisions in the field based on their circumstances.

    This is such important information!! We are establishing a bobwhite and turkey conservation on our property here in north central Arkansas. We just won our grant to start our prescribed fires next March before green up. I’m starting to raise bobwhites here at our house just to learn about them as much as I can as we start this project. I had a wind storm in 2021 that knocked the nearly half of trees on my 3 acres over. I finally got a logger to come, (more as a favor since timber value was poor) the deer couldn't even travel through previously. Now I have deer traveling the only dozer trail and enough of a clearing for a food plot. Super excited for the fall!

    Nice video, i understand what your doing....I'm clearing off a hillside now of big tall cedars & some poplars, so the sun can hit the Earth, & new grasses, bushes, trees will come up...I've already planted 5 fruit trees & am planting 4 Chinese Chestnuts this Oct, but i'll probably have to make raised beds for the Chestnuts b/c there's not much top soil, a few inches, maybe a ft. down it's solid rock....I saw 2 does walking across that hillside yesterday, just before it got dark, checking it out...there's maybe 15 American persimmons on that hillside now....

    Growing clover and alfalfa can and will add organic material and clense toxins as well as great food and medicine for humans and animals. Also turning them into clay ball pellets will illiminate tilling is clover and alfalfa are left there. for growing in it chop them down as manure and plant or plan adding other curtain soil building plants ie; long taproots, thing like dandelion. Soils can be evoled.

    Something as simple as edge feathering can change the habitat for so many types of animals and insects. Releasing trees and creating a sunny spot will instantly change the way they utilize the area and provide food for them. Small changes add up too as you either do TSI or as I’ve recently learned about FSI. Don’t forget, like in the video, add pollinators and grasses to your place and Shazam! Great video fellas!
